Accessibility & Inclusion

Disability Parking:

  • Wheelchair access and parking in tennis court parking area in Centenary Avenue

 

Street Parking:

  • There is plenty of “on street” parking along Racecourse Road, Edith Street and surrounding streets and at the Racecourse on Racecourse Road.
  • Please remember to be mindful of driveways “do not park across driveways”

 

Grassed Area:

  • The main event will be held on grassed area with access to Miles Historical Village Museum through rear gate that is sandy or follow the cement footpath in Centenary Avenue to the front of the village which has footpaths and sandy areas.

 

Restrooms:

  • Disabled restroom available at main event near entrance and in the village on the eastern end of the bank.

 

Access for Companion Card Holders:

  • People who hold a government-issued Companion Card may bring a companion to the event, and the companion will be admitted at no charge.
  • The person holding the Companion Card will pay the usual admission and the companion enters for free.
  • To request a companion card ticket to our main events, please email help@iwannaticket.com.au to request a companion card holder ticket, and include a copy of your companion card.

 

Seating and shade:

  • Marquees with table and chairs will be situated near the main stage.
  • There will be shade dotted around the main event area.
  • Elevated seating platforms will be available around the arena and Tractor Pull.
  • You are welcome to bring a folding chair for your comfort.

 

Dogs:

  • Please note that dogs are welcome at the event and in the village but must be on a leash at all times.
  • Owner must be responsible for cleaning up and disposing of waste appropriately.

 

First Aid:

  • There will be a First Aid area – refer to map in program.

 

Parents room:

  • There will be a Parents room in the onsite changing rooms – will be sign posted for your convenience.

 

Water:

  • Water station will be located near the QGC tent – plastic bottles of water will be available free of charge

 

Food Choices:

  • The event features a variety of hot food and drink choices including hamburgers, German sausages, coffee, snow cones plus more.
  • BYO alcohol is prohibited.
  • Gluten Free Options will be available on site.

  • If you need assistance or have any questions during the festival, please contact our staff with the green Pilbara shirts or one of our wonderful volunteers.
