SATURDAY 8 SEPTEMBER – 7.30 am departure
Join a bus tour in the morning to be guided by a local resident on a journey to explore a local gas production facility; a stunning garden lovingly created and nurtured by one of our local land owners; and a fine collection of local artworks on display at a pop-up gallery in the tranquil setting of a locally owned and constructed cabin just out of town (see the verandah section in the picture above). It is here you will be served with a colonial style brunch as you admire the artworks and meet some of our local artists. Whilst you’re there, you really need to take a look at a very special stone chapel being constructed by the property owner and his son.
Tour departs 7.30am from Miles Historical Village which is also the Miles Visitor Information Centre. The expected return time before 12.30pm, before the street parade.
