We’re excited to announce that there’ll be an Antiques and Collectables Expert-in-Residence, eager to share his knowledge and tell a tale, and perhaps provide some historical background for whatever treasures you may wish to bring along of your own. It’s always interesting to watch what others bring along too, so gather round in ‘Antiques Roadshow’ style. Expert, Dennis Kronk will be inside the old Bank at the Village from 9am to 12pm and eager to see what items visitors will bring along!
Before commencing the antiques roadshow-style appraisals, our Antiques Expert in Residence will be displaying his very rare collection of antique bibles, hundreds of years old! The bibles themselves are fascinating to see, plus Dennis will explain the intriguing stories on why each was commissioned to be made at that time of history.
Devonshire tea will be available throughout the day, plus Brian Wright and friends providing the music backdrop to the day’s festivities. Wander through the Village to view the various working displays happening throughout the day and the kids can join the fun of the “Where’s William” competition.
