If you’re planning on making the most of your journey back to the bush by arriving a little earlier than other festival goers, one of the pre-festival events that will give you a perfect warm-up for the events that will follow over the festival weekend is the Drillham Spring Dance. Enjoy old-time dances such as the Gypsy Tap, Canadian Two-step and Pride of Erin to name a few, as well as supper with the locals. The dance, presented by the Drillham Hall Committee will be held at Drillham, just up the road a bit from the township of Miles. Live band on the evening will be ‘Sound Elite’, popular entertainers from Chinchilla. There’ll also be novelty prizes and dances for the kids, so it’s are to be a fun family night out!
