The Beef Bells and Bottle Tree Festival has been renamed with visioning to develop a biennial festival showcasing the vitality of the Miles district in the Western Downs of Queensland.
The festival aims to celebrate and promote a sense of community for residents and visitors to Miles and District. It encompasses a variety of exciting activities capturing arts, culture, heritage, education, sport, agriculture and environment.
The Festival begin in the 1950’s as the Miles Wildflower Festival and was traditionally staged over two weekends with the main carnival on the second Saturday in September. It has had several reincarnations including Back to the Bush celebrations in the early 2000’s and the Beef, Bells and Bottle Tree Festival.
Organised by community volunteers, the Miles Back to the Bush celebrations in 2018 will be staged over four days to welcome visitors to Miles. We hope you can join us.
