Author and TV Presenter, Anna Daniels will be in Miles next month as guest speaker at the Back the Bush Ladies High Tea, held in the lead in to the Miles Back to the Bush Festival. 

Women from across the region will gather to be inspired by Anna’s story and also the stories of local inspirational women who will be recognised during a morning of high style on Tuesday 4thSeptember.

Anna Daniels has worked on some of Australia’s highest rating TV and radio programs, including writing and presenting stories from rural and regional Australia for The Project. Previously, she was the co-winner of ABC Radio’s ‘Comedy Segment of the Year’ Award, for her interview with Russell Crowe. Her debut novel, Girl in Between, was shortlisted for The Vogel Awards, upon its release in 2017.

In tune with the Festival’s theme ‘Looking Forward Looking Back’ the High Tea will look back and celebrate local Miles and district families who consist of generations of inspiring women. It’s not too late to nominate a family of women who inspire you, with nominations open until 27thAugust on the Festival website.

The Ladies High Tea will be held 10.30am Tuesday 4thSeptember in the Leichhardt Hall, Miles, with $30 tickets available at or at the door.  A special $27 early-bird discount price applies for tickets purchased online by 30 August.
