About the Festival
EXPERIENCE THE BEAUTY AND CHARM OF RURAL LIFE
Beginning with the Wildflower Festival in the 1950s the small townships of Miles, Columboola, Condamine, Drillham, Dulacca and Gulugaba have staged a biennial festival in September celebrating wildflowers, beef, bells and bottle trees. This year we are returning to our roots and inviting visitors to share our country lifestyle and help us celebrate everything that we value about living in the bush.
Enjoy quintessential bush celebrations throughout the weekend. Immerse yourself in days gone by at the renowned Miles Historical Village and Museum. Don't miss any of the action from the street parade, vintage car displays, back to the bush markets, collections tours, art exhibitions, Gala Ball, bush poets and performers, and delight in a little quirky fun with tractor pulls and bush obstacle races, vintage plane flyovers, beard appreciation competitions and pot belly boiling challenges. Experience life in the bush by day and by night.
Whether you are an adventurer, nature lover, collector, history buff, foodie or music lover; your whole family are guaranteed a unique bush experience.
